Introduction To Fall

fall-leavesHi, and welcome to November. I’ve always enjoyed this part of the year. I like every season for different reasons, but I especially like the fall. I love the concept of a tree’s leaves dying off, while the tree remains perfectly healthy and regrows it’s greenery when it warms up again next year.

A lot of people tend to get a little bluesy at this time of year, which is understandable. Personally I like to look forward to and prepare myself for next year during this time. I see it as a great opportunity to build a foundation of knowledge for yourself, and utilize the things you’ve learned in the new year.

White In The Summer, Red In The Winter

I tend to follow this trend. Seasonal eating and seasonal wine go hand and hand. You generally eat burgers and different barbecued foods in the spring and summer right? Well guess what goes best with a burger; a good ol’glass of white Pinot Grigio. What do we generally eat in the fall and winter? I usually go for things like: soup, stew, steak and potatoes, etc. Red wine is the best with these times, in my opinion. It’s not like you have to follow this guideline, heck you can go right ahead and drink any colour wine at any given time. I just find it to be much more fitting at these times.

I have personally been shifting back over to red, though I was saying before I was drinking more white. Since I started writing here the season has changed. and as I tend to flow with the seasons; red is now my go-to. I plan to create a massive seafood pasta tomorrow night for all my friends and relatives, and you can probably guess what I’m having to drink.

Well, I don’t have too much more to say today. I’d love to hear from you guys, feel free to send me an e-mail, and tell me your stories.

Bye for now.
