Osoyoos Larose is the result of a joint venture between Chateau Gruaud Larose and Vincor. The vineyards were first planted in 1999, since when the project has been overseen by Bordeaux-based viticulturalist Alain Sutre. In 2002, Bordeaux winemaker Pascal Madevon moved to British Columbia to become resident winemaker and viticulturalist at Osoyoos Larose.
