The brand, authentically African, commemorates a character in Alan Paton's famous book on South Africa, Cry the Beloved Country. All the wines are made and bottled in South Africa under the direction of Rhyan Wardman, a talented New Zealander. Rhyan oversees the whole operation from sourcing the grapes right through to bottling to ensure not only the highest quality but also consistency - both key factors in this brand's success. The wines are all bottled in flange-top bottles and feature the award-winning label with its distinctive lizard motif.
